Applications of Self-Leveling Polyurethane Flooring

Polyurethane flooring is used not only in industrial facilities but also in residential spaces. It's suitable for workshops and warehouses, as well as parking areas and garages, and can also be used in offices, hotels, shopping centers, and even playgrounds.

This is because the rubberized coating is well-suited for protecting concrete floors in areas with vibrating equipment, as well as in zones with heavy foot traffic.

Polyurethane protection can be applied not only to concrete floors but also to brick, slate, and concrete tiles. It can also be used to protect wood surfaces (parquet, plywood, etc.) and metal surfaces (galvanized steel, cast iron, copper alloys, etc.).

Manufacturing Technology

Polyurethane flooring is a finishing coating. It is sometimes referred to as a two-component system.

The compound must be applied within a limited time window — no more than 20 minutes.

This is because the prepared compound remains usable for only that long. However, this also has an advantage: at room temperature, the protective layer begins to set within just 30 minutes. This speed significantly shortens the duration of the work.

At the same time, applying a polyurethane protective layer requires a high degree of precision and quality. The application must take place in the absence of drafts, direct sunlight, moisture, and dust.
